office 2007 student trial version

I just bought my lap top and a 60 day trial version of office student was
installed and it's been 2 weeks and now the keys are locked. Why is this?
Does anyone know why or what I did. I liked the trial version so far.

Did you activate the trial version using the key that the manufacturer
supplied? If it was already activated before you bought it, the trial has
probably expired. What are any messages that show when you try to use the
software?
