Office 2007 Student version rules

Well my situation is that Im upgrading 2 systems in the very near future,
waiting for them to ship. Unfortunatly my classes have already started so
kind of need acess to office now and I know office student only allows 3
computers. My question is can I install it on my 2 old boxes without
activating while I wait and then once the new ones show up install and
activate office then?

You can activate, if you want, after you install on your old computers. The
number of computer installations is at the same time. To recover one of the
three installations, just uninstall. As Bob I posted, the worse case is that
you may need to call when you activate on your new computers.

30 days, isn't it, or is it 25 launches....the OP did say new machines
imminent.....

Yes hopefully within the next week or 2 they will be here and up n running.
30 days should be fine as long ass the apps aren't crippled by being
unactivated

You can download a free trial version for now and when you get your new
system install on it from your CD. You are protected this way. Don't
use your serial number for this installation because you want to protect
yourself from hassle of phoning for activation.

you need to supply the correct email for this but there is nothing to
stop you from creating a new temporary hotmail account for this one.
