Replaced Office 2003 in error. How do I restore/replace Word 2003 and Excel
2003? Should/Can I purchase a replacement CD? Other suggestions? Thanks!

How did 2003 get on your PC originally? OEM? Contact the PC manufacturer.

Hi, Bob I--Thanks for the info. Is it a general rule that your computer manufacturer will replace any program that came installed on the computer?

Thanks JoAnn--

Does MVP mean you're a most valued person--or guru, if you will--of MS

I don't think anyone would say that. But If software came with the computer,
they should be your first contact if there is a problem with the
installation.

No, the general rule is that the "computer manufacturer" is the
responsible party for "OEM" support. The software that comes "installed"
on the computer is almost invariably not retail version software but an
"inexpensive bundled version" and support will come from the
manufacturer. They should have provided some method for you to put that
software back on the computer. If that method is not apparent to you,
contact their tech support for assistance.
