Office 2007 trial, will Upgrade work?

J

Joe G.

I previously had Office 2003 Standard on my computer. I decided to use the
trial for the last 6 weeks or so, which I installed. Now I am about to
convert to the full version either by purchasing a product key online or
getting a copy at a local store.

But, can I purchase the upgrade rather than the full version product key?
Does my computer maintain the info of my original Office 2003 so that this
will work, or do I have to uninstall Office 2007 trial, reinstall Office 2003
Standard, and then upgrade?

Thanks, folks.

Hi Joe,

The MS Office 2007 trial editions do not remove the older versions of Office if you use a default install. You can purchase an
upgrade edition license key (product CDs are also sent out when you purchase through a trial conversion). You shouldn't need to
reinstall an older version to upgrade. Keep your Office 2003 CDs though in case you need to repair or reinstall at a later date.
