Office 2007 will not open at all!

I've gone though the directory to find the exact folder it's in to open it
and nothing happens. Uninstalled and reinstalled it twice and still nothing.
None of my files will open it. I double click or single click and enter, and
it acts like it's going to open then nothing happens.

Issues like this are usually related to other security programs on the
machine. Anti-virus.. etc..

Can you open the office applications in safe mode?

Nope. I've already looked at both Windows Firewall and my school security
program (I live in a dorm) and it's okay there. The only way I can open
anything typed up is either in OpenOffice or Wordpad. Microsoft Office (the
whole entire suite) will not work.

Ok, well if I was troubleshooting it and wanted to find out why it wasn't
opening I would use Process Monitor to monitor the processes and reg
read/writes during the attempt to open office. That would no doubt shed some
light on why this is happening.

But that is a bit complicated to explain in the forums. Instead, lets try
the next best thing. Try this.. uninstall office. Then remove the left over
reg keys, and files by following KB928218.

Then reinstall. Doe sthe issue still exist?
