I have read several pieces about this problem, but to no avail. Let me repeat
the issue. I was advised that you could install Office 2007 with Office 2003
already in place. This I atempted only to receive thje message "SETUP ERROR
The language of this installation package is not supported by your system"!
So, I uninstalled Office 2003 and tried to install Office 2007 again. The
same message?!! Now I don't have any Office system installed at all (the
first came with the computer, no separate disk) and I cannot find any fix!!!
I checked the language issue as best I could as per some previous threads
but, apart from seeing so many non-English languages ticked (and no
English/US languages ticked) and not knowing what I should tick anew or
untick, I just let it go.
I did install this same Word 2007 package on a new computer (group licence)
an hour before and it worked fine. What is going on? And how do I proceed
from here?
