I have Office 2007 and I am trying to install (On Vista) but everytime I try
to I get error 1402. Mind you I have looked at other posts but they have not
helped. Here is what I've done so far.
1.Manual Uninstall of Office 2007 (I used to have 2007 trying to install
everytime an Office program.
2.Opened regedit as System to give key permissions to Everyone as well as
several adminstrators. (If I did not go in as System I would be blocked from
the key so it would not save permission changes)
3.I had used a registry cleaner from a trusted company however I did
rollback the changes.
4.I have disabled all anti-virus, anti-spyware, and all anti-adware.
5.I have started in a clean boot.
