I installed a brand new HP printer on my laptop today, and Office 2007
stopped working. My desktop Icons for turned into blank icons, and I could
not open Word or Excel from the desktop, and the Start Menu.
However, files I have saved in My Documents open in either Word or Excel
just fine.
I uninstalled the printer and tried to repair and then uninstall Office (you
know, to see if it would work) and it gets about halfway through the process
and then says that the uninstall/repair process cannot complete.
All was well, until I installed that darn printer...grr!
