Office 2007

I'm running a trial version of Office 2007. Outlook 2007 is causing me a
problem. I've uninstalled Outlook 2003 and installed Outlook 2007. I can
launch the programme and see all of my emails, contacts and diary
information. As soon as I try to open an item (email, contact or diary
appointment) the programme crashes.
Any help would be appreciated.

As an update, if I use the reading pane the emails, tasks etc can be viewed.
However as soon as I try to open an item Outlook crashes

Last Resort

I ran into a similiar problem where I had Office 2003 and installed Office
2007. Before I installed Office 2007, I uninstalled Office 2003. But I made
the mistake of uninstalling Office 2003 BEFORE I uninstalled the add-ins for
Office 2003. I then remembered and tried to un-install all add-ins for Office
2003, with limited success. Some add-ins required Office 2003 to be installed
before you can un-install the add-in.

I said all of that to say this..... When I installed Office 2007, I had a
problem in Outlook 2007, where as a Office 2003 add-in (which I thought I had
deleted) was still there and caused Outlook to start then "hang-up". It then
self detected that one of the add-ins (Outlook 2003 back-up) was causing a
conflict and asked me if I wanted to disable the add-in. After I disabled it,
everything worked fine. I didn't even un-install the add in yet.

What I'm getting at is check to see if any add-ins from Office/Outlook 2003
is still in your system.

Good luck and hope this helps!
