Recently, I discovered that I was using an illegal product key for Office
2003 and jumped at the chance to try the 2007 BETA

I love Office '07. It didn't hog any more ram than '03 when I checked. Live
previews are cool, appearing instantly, and when I click away, they go away
instantly! The GUI means my workflow is a lot quicker and my word processing
is almost seamless! I love Office '07 and I want to buy it when the licence
expires!

The licence expires on 31 Jan '07, and I was wondering when the new version
comes out. I am 14, so could I obtain the Home and Student Edition, whatever
it's called? I really want to buy it right now!

P.S. The Word Art from PowerPoint 2007 is graphically advanced since 2003,
but you haven't changed it in Word. Please make the Word Art the same for all
programs in the final version. I'm loving the shadows, 3D perspectives and
bevels. Everyone, get the 2007 BETA!

Microsoft employees rarely ever read the public newsgroups.

I hope that you've talked to your parents about that illegal software and
have informed them of that. Hopefully they will delete it immediately.

You can't buy the software now - it's not available yet. Not until next
year.

Yes, it is a bit odd that Word is the app that doesn't implement the new 'WordArt' while Powerpoint does :)

You can send feedback directly to the MS Office team using the feedback tool for 2007 from the links below.

The retail copy of the software is, per Microsoft, currently targeted to be available on the shelfs by the time your beta copy
expires.
