Can this software (product key code) be installed on more than one computer.
We have several in our office to upgrade to 2007.

Home and Student editions allow two or three installations, but for
commercial and business use you have to buy a separate license for each one.
Talk to your sales people, as there are multiple license packages available.

License (Key Code) ? Meaning I need to purchase several software packages?
Doesn't seem to make sense. Thanks

No - you need a separate license per computer for your office.

Depends upon the suite you've got, as others have observed. The
Ultimate suite (and I think the Pro and others) *DO* allow installation
on more than one machine, *BUT*....that only extends to 1 desktop and 1
portable (laptop/tablet) for the *SAME* user. In other words if you had
a desktop and a laptop you could legally install Office 2007 on both
machines as long as you're the user of both machines. You couldn't
install Office 2007 on your desktop and then legally install it on
somebody else's laptop.

It sounds to me, from what you've written, like you need to buy separate
licenses for each machine in your office.

If there are 5 or more look into getting a Volume License.

Sure it does. You're a business owner, or it appears so from your post.
Therefore the expense is tax deductible and not real money like the rest of
us pay. You can depreciate the cost of the software too and play all sorts
of tricks with it. Look on the bright side.

Cheers,

Earle

Why? Different computers, different users = different licenses.

No, you need to purchase several licenses (one for each computer the
users will be operating). Buying several packages is one of the ways of
doing that. Volume licensing is another.
