Hello,

The 12.2.3 Update disable a future update to Entourage 2008 EWS (Web
Services)

Do you have a workaround?

Thanks in advance for your feedback

I don't believe there are plans for an auto-update path to EWS. If you are
at 12.2.3, you can manually upgrade by downloading and installing using:

0C6B3-E017-42A1-A54B-0F39A21CEA06#viewer>

You will need be accessing Exchange 2007 server rollup 4 and will need to
import your existing identity into the new identity that is created by the
upgrade

For more details, see:

If the above link does not work, try just:

Look at the Web Services Edition section.

Hello Bill,

Thanks for your quick feedback, but if you download the EWS edition 'by the hand" you're not able to upgrade after the 12.2.3. When you launch the EWS setup, it check for available partition with upgradable office 2008 and told you that it just can upgrade :(

Once you install the EWS v13x, future Office updaters will automatically
update Entourage v13 as well.

For example, when EWS was first introduced you installed v13.0.0. It
required v12.2.1. When updater 12.2.3 came out it also upgraded v13.0.0 to
13.0.3 automatically

Diane,
I agree with you, things are that if you've installed the 12.2.3 before EWS you can update entourage to EWS edition anymore. And I'm looking for a workaround to be able to upgrade entourage to EWS.
Thanks,
Vincent

Vincent,

What Mac OS X is on the Mac that can't be upgraded to EWS from 12.2.3? If I
understand things, you are reporting that once you've upgraded to 12.2.3
that the manual upgrade to EWS is failing to work. What is the error that
you don't have a compatible version of the software to upgrade?

I suspect this is something specific to your computer. If you have Office
12.2.3 installed, you can install v13.0.3 to install EWS. Check the
Microsoft Component Plugin version.

Diane,

I wasn't able to install EWS 13.0.0 after a 12.2.3 upgrade. But the EWS 13.0.3 work like a charm after an upgrade to 12.2.3

Diane and Bill,
Thanks you very much for your precious help
