Office 2010

Hey everyone,

I downloaded Office 2010 this weekend and I'm putting Access through
its paces. I like what I've seen so far and I'm extremely intrigued
by the including of Access Services. I saw the Video aritcle on
Channel 9 and knew right away this was a product for me. I'm not
sure if anyone has had the chance to look at it yet.

Access Services seems to be a part of the Office Suite, that will
allow users to take Databases and deploy them onto the internet using
SharePoint. Does anyone know if this can be used with WSS 3.0 or if I
need to have SharePoint server on my network? So far I havnt been
able to convince my managmen that SharePoint Server is necessary and
important for our applications.

Anyone got any thoughts?

There's some discussion in the comp.databases.ms-access newsgroup on
this topic. I have several blog entries referencing the Google groups
discussions on that topic. A link to my blog is in my sig below.
