Have Office 2000 running on Win2K - both fully up-to-date with Windows
Update and Office Update patches. Just noticed that any help function
that includes a "Show Me" does not work.
Specific example: In Excel, searching for "custom"; choosing "Create a
custom number format"; then clicking "Show Me" does absolutely nothing.
Having discovered this, I played with help in both Word and Excel for
15 minutes, clicking "Show Me" whenever it was listed -- same result, it
does NOTHING.
Tried the same thing on my other computers, which have Office '97 (one
with Win98, one with WinXP), and they work great.
Is this a known issue with Office 2000? or perhaps with Office 2k on Win2K?
If not, any ideas on how to fix it?
