Office 2K install runs every time a user logs in

Hi, Mark. I seem to recall this problem occurring when the the user is in
the Power User group... try assigning the user to another group, and see if
the problem persists. Not sure what else to suggest.

Hello,

I'm having the same issue with installer that Mark posted.
I followed all the steps in the link provided below and it
fixed Access but installer still pops up when starting all
other Office applications. Any other advice out there?

This is a school so all users have roaming profiles, and don't have a local
status: group assignment as far as I understand. The profiles are petty much
locked down, but I suppose the only problem is that the office install isn't
saved once it has run once.

I read somewhere once about giving permissions to something on the local PC
to all users, if that jogs anyones memory.

I also suspect the install maybe needed some switches to enable office to
run in this environment/ manner
