Office 2K SP-1a requires Premium CD?!

I used the office updater to tell me I needed to load SP-
1a before I could load the SP-3 update. My CD is for
Office 2K standard, and the installer can't complete my
installation because it requires something on an Office 2K
Premium CD.

No mention of this anywhere. Is the office update selector
wrong or the installer? Solutions?
