Installed Office 2K Pro in \Program Files\Office
Upgraded to Office XP Pro and it opted to install itself in \Program
Files\Office10
Why did the XP upgrade not just install into \Office and update\upgrade
everything it found?
Can I merge\combine \Office and \Office10 into one directory and change all
the pointers to the subsequently merged folder? I have COA2
(Change-of-Address 2) from "PC Magazine" and it will change things from one
directory to another in .INI files, shortcuts, and the registry.) (I have
used it many times to do the same thing for other programs and there were no
problems.)
I'm looking for a specific reason why this wouldn't work. Not unhelpful
comments.
