Office 97 install error- "configuration of ODBC MS Access Driver(.

Uninstalled Office 97 using Add/Remove Program applet. On reinstall I get
error message. Confuration of the ODBC MS Access Driver (*mdb) driver failed.
It will not alllow me to reinstall.
