Office 97 Installation error

Towards the end of the installation I get the following
error: "Bdrintl.dll was unable to register itself in the
system registry."

I click ok, and then get the following: "Microsoft Office
Setup was not completely sucessfully."

So I go back and try to unistall everything that did get
installed and get the following message: "setup
configurization file Off97pro.stf is missing or
corrupted. Try running setup from its original location."

I have tried to re-install numerous times to no avail.
Any ideas?
