I had purchased an upgrade version of Office 97 somer
years ago. I recently accidently deleted it. I have a
lot of saved work in Office 97 that I do not want to
lose. I went out and purchased Microsoft Works, Ver.
7.0, so that I could have a current "Qualifying product"
enabeling me to re-install Office 97.
I installed and registered Works and it runs well.
However, when I go to re-install Office 97, I end up with
a message reading "Setup cannot confirm that you are the
license of one of the qualifying products listed on the
Microsoft Office 97 box." That's not so.
Would appreciate some help.
