Office 97 Professional Compatability

Is there any reason why Office 97 Professional wouldn't work on the Windows XP

None. I used it for well over a year before moving on to
Office XP.

No reason. Works fine. I used 97 for quite a while before moving to 2003.

What is the problem?

About the only reason would be is IF the "users" permissions were set
such that "they" couldn't use it. The NT operating system has that
"security" capability.
