office 97 use in new windows

Can I install office 97 professional in Windows 2000 or
Windows XPProfessional as it is? Or do I need to use a
newer version of Office?

You can install Office 97 or Windows 2000 or XP as is. No problem.

4.1 would be compatible too?

Yes, it is. I have it on both Win2k and WinXP. No problem.
