Does this apply to Access 97 (from Office 97) co-existing with Office 2003
S&T? I may have installed 2003 over 97. Access still works, but I can't
import/export data from it. I attempted de/reinstall of Access 97, but it
says the Excel data import modules already exist. It indicates they're in
System32. I suspect that the 2003 versions of the dlls are named the same
but incompatible with 97.

If a complete de/reinstall of both packages into separate directories does
not resolve this problem, what is the oldest version of Access that I can
install, and still be compatible with the Office 2003 S&T modules? I'm
hoping that's Access 2000, because that's supported at my office. If I have
to get a newer version of Access for compatibility with Office 2003 at home,
are data files created with Access 2003 compatible with Access 2000?

Thanks in advance for any assistance offered.
