Office 97will not install

Unable to install Office 97 Prof. after uninstalling because of problems
with mail/merge. Problems seem to have started after XP updates were
installed.

Ideas?

Have you installed SP2? If so, you'll probably have to remove SP2,
install Office97, install all the updates and then re-install SP2.

That worked for me... if you don't have SP2 installed, then I don't
know what the problem might be, sorry.
