I guess I did. My wife and kids were about to kill me to get out of this
office as I searched all day long for a solution. I went through every new
product and just kept hitting activate and finally the message change over
and still timed out, but at least it was a truthful message for once; that
their servers were down and to try back in a few minutes. just kept trying
right after that it activated and I'm liking the office now,,now!!!b/c I was
starting to HATE it...Good Luck.

Brian--

I downloaded RC2 from a torrent, then used my key from Beta 2. I intend to
get Vista when it releases, but since I've been using Ultimate, I'll have to
spend about $250.

Check a couple of posts around here...or search the knowledgebase for
article 925098...follow the steps or use the VLK given there...no activation
required.

Thanks. I'll check it out. I saw rc2 on a non microsoft site and on
torrent, but was hesitate.

office 2007 working great for me now. I had a conflict with adobe 6 full
version. Deleted the pdfmaker.dot template and it works fine. Was having
issues with excel and norton Internet security, but deleted the check ms
documents options from norton anti virus misc options and excel works great
now.

Xp is working at it's finest and is the most stable that I have ever had it
at and I have been hesitant to put rc1 on it.
Started to, but it wanted me to unistall roxio media 9 and nero,,which is
fine, I rarely use them, but it asked me to uninstall norton completely, not
just shut it off and I was hesitatant. I'm on the waiting list for norton
360-vista ready, was kind of waiting for that.

Have you had any major issues with vista?

I have a amd 4200 x2 processor but was going with the 32 bit edition vs the
64 bit just based on what I have read with driver issues..
