office add-in

David Iseman

When I open Outlook, I get two error messages:

the second message, is: sbcmsync.dll is not a valid Office add-in.

Included is a path to Microsoft Office\Office, but when I display the
contents of that folder I do not see the file. The direction is from my
Documents and Settings folder.

The 1st error message when I start up, is that Outlook was not properly
shutdown.

Any help would be appreciated.

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;235009 should help
you with SBCM.

Outlook is trying to verify the integrity of the PST file. You should try
running the inbox repair tool (scanpst.exe) against the file. From there I
would look for things that could keep Outlook in memory after you thing you
shut it down. (e.g. PDA, Fax, .etc software that utilizes outlook data)
