Office Application Does Not Match

I recently invested in a copy of Microsoft Home and Student, 2007. After I
ran the copy, I tired to use Powerpoint and Word and received this message
when I used either or. I downloaded all patches and compatibility packs but
I haven't had any success yet.

Suggestions?

The error message sounds like this one, «Error message when you start a
2007 Office program on a computer that is running Outlook 2007 with Business
Contact Manager: "Office application version does not match"»

If that is not it, do you have two Office suites installed? This could
happen if your computer came with a "trial version" of Office, and you did
not delete that before installing Home and Student.

2007 doesnt require any compatibility pack, an earlier version of Office may
require the pack
