(using office pro 2007 on winxp with all latest sps. using a home lan)
word, excel and access all immediately crash if i try to open the ide. i've
tried removing and reinstalling office to no avail.
all data is stored in common drive so i'm able to use my laptop to work with
data when i need the ide.
so the situation is that my workstation computer crashes but my laptop
doesn't when using the identical data.
i have a hunch that there may be some add-in anomaly causing the dysfunction
but that is above my paygrade. i've tried conforming my workstation add-ins
to be like my laptop add-ins. to the best of my knowledge i have no
third-party add-ins except what came with office and acrobat 8.0.
and then again it may not be add-ins at all.
this is driving me batty. help anyone, please.
