I solved my own issue through trial and error reinstalls
of Office 2K. Turns out the developers at Microsoft have a
bug in their shitty software. The solution for me was to
install the bare minimum Office applications without all
the add-ins, templates, etc. Of course, I now have a whole
new problem where the MSI installer tries to launch every
single time I launch any office applications. But, at
least my macros work. Thanks for nothing Microsoft.
