Office Assistant Error message

We recently upgrde from Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2003. We also, upgraded from Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2003 to take advantage of some of the functionality of Exchange 2003. However, we are still using Office 2000 for the other applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Since that time we have had a messge 'The Office Assisstant could not be opened. Please run repair ...' while the Office Assistant is running in Outlook 2003.
My only option is not to run the Office Assistant in Outlook 2003. Any other suggestions????

Actually, I do. :)

I've just discovered there is a hotfix now available to correct this
issue:
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=841530

To obtain the hotfix:

- In the US call 1-800-936-4900, press #3 for Hotfixes
- Outside the US use the link provided in the article to obtain a
phone number for your location.

Tell them you are calling to obtain the hotfix described in KB841530
and you should get it in no time. :)
