Office assistant gallery in Word XP on windows Vista

Help please. I have Windows Vista. When attempting to get Office Assistant
other than the default for Word XP, I get message "Insufficient memory to
complete this operation". Clippy drives me crazy and I'm just trying to get
the puppy dog - nothing special. Can anyone explain this type of error and
how to work around it?

You are correct and I apologize. I am very new at posting and was having
difficulty finding responses. I think I got the hang of it now. Thanks for
