Office Assistant Not Working

I have Office 2000. While using Word, I click on Clippie,
the assitant. A popup says that it is not installed. It
was working a few days ago but not now. Any suggestions?

Try going to the help menu and select DETECT AND REPAIR.
That worked for me.

Thanks JoAnn. I would do the detect and repair; only I don't have the original cd disc for the program. The program was on a used computer that I had purchased.
