Office Beta 2007 uninstall, can't re-install Office 2003

I uninstalled Beta 2 Office 2007 and really expected to revert back to Office
2003?
Why am I so gullable?? I uninstalled pretty clean & successful BUT I can't
install my Office Small Bus 2003? Why? It keeps telling me that I have the
wrong Product Key number! %##&*&%$ I know I am an old geezer but I can read!
I have the number written on the CD, its on the orange label on the case and
I've done it about 5 times! What are the chances that the Beta uninstall
took or corrupted a file? I've not had this problem before... I have
re-formatted before without a problem re-loading??? HELP!

Um...I don't know of any case where 2007 could have done anything to
your system that could cause this. You might want to try System Restore
to restore your system to the point prior to installing 2007?

Thought so... thank you Patrick. I did a Restore to the very point just
before I installed the Beta and go nothing. I'll try further back.

I installed the 2003 trial, and was not able to install 2000 afterward.
Had to format the hdd etc.

Cute trick isn't it. Msft sucks. I wish I didn't have to use them.

This might be a stupid answer but my package has two product key "stickers"
in it. One is for MS Office and the other is that "one-note" program or
whatever that thing was called. I've mixed them up before. Possibility???
