Set up Office XP Small Business on a machine with Windows XP Professional
x64. When Word is dragged onto desktop under one user it disappears from the
list of programs and therefore can't be accessed by the other user.

Shouldn't have dragged it OFF! Drag it back and drop it into All Users.
If you want a copy on your OWN desktop COPY it there, don't drag it off
the All Users Start Menu.
