Office Communicator 2005

Hi ,
I have Windows Vista on my laptop, running windows communicator 2005 in
it. For authentication purpose I need to download the CA certificate from a
private url of my company. When I click on the link to download IE7 gets hung
saying "Downloading ActiveX Controls". I think this works only with IE6 I
guess. I need to know the following.

1. How to make Office communicator 2005 access this certificate through
mozilla ? Since mozilla has this certificate installed. Presently certificate
verification is happening through IE7, so it gives verification error.
2. Even if we want to install this certificate through IE7 whats the
solution so that IE7 doesn't get hung or become inactive by giving the error
"Downloading ActiveX Controls".
3. Any other alternative to install the CA certificate and make the
authentication for office communicator 2005 work.

Any replies will be of great help.

Thanks
-Amar

Try posting in the Communicator newsgroup rather than a miscellaneous Office
group.
