Greetings
Word and Excel files occasionally lock up when we try to save them, either
with the save as command on the menu bar, the save icon, or click the close
window x in the upper right corner. Running Win XP Pro SP 2, Office 2000
(two different versions of it: SR-1 and SP 3). Continually updated McAfee,
firewall, etc. This is a new problem (for the last few weeks), no new
programs installed, happening on various machines. No error message, just
total lock-up, hard boot time. Tried googling, haven't seen anything like
this. Is this happening to other people, or do we have gremlins in our
system? Doesn't happen with other programs, and we are sure we are virus
free.
