Hi,
I have used Imaging (once I found where it was hidden!) a few times without
any probelms until yesterday. I now find that when I try and scan on the
first page it comes up with an error that says it will close the program and
send an error message. It sends the message but the program appears to
continue to work. Continue with scanning the second page: it gets to around
90% and stalls, with the error message stating that it's waiting for the scan
to complete, this after the scanner has not only finished but has also
retunrd to the park position. The message box will remain up no matter what:
the three-finger salute does nothing, it simply locks up the machine
requiring a power off to enable a re-boot. I cannot open anything off the
task bar to get the Task Manager up or do a normal restart.
The scanner works without any probelms with half a dozen other applications
so I don't think it's that.
I have run Office diagnositics which found nothing and have tried
re-installing the application, again to no effect.
Any suggestions please?
