Office Document Imaging update scanner driver database Xscan32.dat

When I started using Office Document Imaging I found that my computer's
version of the scanner driver database file (Xscan32.dat) does not have data
on my printer, currently an Epson CX4600. My Windows XP SP2 computer is
about 3 years old. I have Word 2002 and have installed the latest available
Office XP Service Pack 3 and all Microsoft updates. A help file said:
"Updating the scanner driver database file:
Office Document Imaging installs on your computer a scanner driver database
file (Xscan32.dat), which contains driver information for current and popular
scanner models. This allows Office Document Imaging to recognize supported
scanners without running the scanner testing procedure. However, as scanner
manufacturers make driver updates available to their customers, and as newer
scanner models are introduced, the scanner driver database needs to remain
current. Newer versions of the scanner driver database can be found in the
Office Document Imaging section of the Microsoft Office Web site."
However, after a few hours on the Microsoft Office Web site trying to find a
way to download the newest version of this database file and enable it I
could not find anything.
Does anyone know how to do this? Need to know this because I am adding more
printer/scanner hardware and would rather have my system run these things
automatically. Anyone?--Thanks.
