Office Editions 2003 trial on pc

I bought a new Compaq pc and it comes pre-loaded with MS Office Editions
2003 two month trial. I already have a legit MS Office 2003 CD and am
wondering what my options are.

Can I....
1) Just put in the trial product key which enables the software for two
months and then after 2 months re-load my MS Office 2003 CD on top of it and
then enter that product key, or
2) Enter my MS Office 2003 CD product key in to the software when prompted
when I start using the trial software, or
3) Remove the trial software, via Add/Remove programs, and then install my
MS Office 2003 with product key
