Office file types

S

Scott Adams

We recently deployed Office 2003 to our organization using an administrative
image and an MST with Active Directory Group Policy. We all run Win2K Pro.
The majority of users are reporting no upgrade issues. One user experienced
odd behavior, however. Since the upgrade, the Office file types are not
associated to any program under her user account. If I login as an
administrator on the machine, all is well. I have uninstalled and
reinstalled the product and experience the same behavior. Not sure where to
go from here. Suggestions? Thanks.

As a quick test, what happens if you create a new user account. Do the file
types work then?

Go to Start/Run and try running the following commands which will
