Office Genuine Advantage Failed to Load

I keep getting the message "Office Genuine Advantage Failed to Load" even
though i have follewed all the instructions on the page. Can a slow
connection speed affect this download? I have installed Office 2000 on a new
computer from old discs that I already used on another computer - can this
affect the validation process? What can I do? I can't get updates

OGA does not check Office 2000. Do you have components from a newer Office version installed as well?
