Office Home and Student won't load on my Vista loaded laptop. Why

I have a laptop running on Vista. I have new Microsoft Office, Home and
Student. The software appears to load, but it is no where to be found. am I
missing something?

You uninstalled any Office trial first?
If you click on the Vista Orb Btn and type Word in the search what does it
come up with?
