Office Home & Student 2007

I have Office Home and Student 2007 on my computer but have sent for Office
Professional 2007 because I need Publisher and Access for my clait course.
Would I have to uninstall Home and Student before installing Professional?
Also I have only had Home and Student for about 1 month could I get some sort
of refund or something any ideas?

You wouldn't have to but I would suggest doing it so that you don't run into
issues with two different product keys. As for a refund, not count on it.
Most places won't accept opened software back regardless of how long it has
been. You could try to sell it to a friend to recoup your cost.

What JoAnn said.

In addition, I've seen at least one report of someone installing a version
of Office on top of Home and Student, but they still see the "for
non-commercial use" tag at the top of the screen (which only appears in
Office Home and Student usually). I'd find that annoying, so it's another
vote for uninstalling Home and Student before installing the other one.

Would I be able to install Home and Student on a laptop being as I will not
be using on our Pc? I am thinking about the product key.

Yes. H&S can be installed on three computers.

If you are the only user of the laptop and you are buying a retail copy of
Office Pro, you could legally install that on the laptop as well as your
desktop.
