Just installed Office 2003 Proffessional and cannot locate
an icon or file to put on desktop or taskbar.

Any ideas?

Thank you

Try this
Right click desktop/select "change icon"/select browse/local disk/program files/Microsoft Office(your version)
Your files of type should be "Icon Files"

Yes, the shortcut bar was not included in Office 2003
Futher research on this topic can be found by searching the MS or Google groups
The post was just a way of creating your own (if you need it) using the tools provided in Windows and Office without having to incorporate a 3rd party addin or installing the shortcut from a previous version.....

Thanks to all. I had hoped MS could do a bit more for the buck.

Take care and enjoy the Springtime
