Office keeps trying to reintall it'self

hello

every minute or so the "windows installer" box pops up
and it says it's "preparing to install windows xp
proffesional with frontpage". i've checked these
applications and they appear to work fine, although when
i load them the windows installer thing comes back. Also
it comes up at the same time as i get a pop-up so maybe
it's linked to pop-ups, i dunno. i've run spy bot and ad-
awar, but no change.

please advise
