Office Mac 2001. MS Word, none of the menu items open (File, Edit, View,
etc; except the font field). I am running Mac OS9.2.2. Thanks in advance
for any assistance or suggestions you can over.

Probably corrupt preferences, but try the standard troubleshooting tricks,
listed here:

(hit reload a few times in Safari, or use a different browser)

Although the article says read the entire thing, you can first scroll down
to General Troubleshooting, and follow the instructions under Word Settings
to test the preferences.

If that doesn't work, then go back to the beginning of the article.
