Office:mac

I just purchased and installed (9/2/3) Office Mac Student and Teacher
Edition. Is this inclusive of all the updates published for Ofice:mac
or are there updates that I should install. For example I attempred
to update with 10.1.2 but got an error message indicating either I
didn't have Office installed (not the case) or the update was not
required.

There's no hard and fast rule, since boxes can sit on the shelf for
indeterminate periods. In general, MS puts the latest update on
their CDs at press time, but those pressings may occur a while
before they ship.

You can determine which update you have by looking at the version
number of the Microsoft Component Plugin.

The current update is 10.1.4.
