Office not responding

i HAVE OFFICE 95 running on windows xp sp2, all the while is working fine but
since yesterday when i tried to open the excel and try to type something,
then it start not responding and also word, error message, ms word for
windows 95 application has encounterd a problen and needs to clse.

please help
