Office on D, updates on drive C, is this ok?

If the Office is installed on Drive D and the updates are on Drive C, is
Office getting updated properly?

I guess I'm not following what you mean. Are you saying your are
downloading the updates to your C: drive and installing them manually?

No. I use office update and click on the updates to install. Can you
download them and install them manually?

I have my OS on Drive C and programs, etc on Drive D. Since there is no
choice as to which drive to install the updates on, the updates are
installing on drive c by default.

Office is installed on drive d, so the question is...if the updates are
being installed on drive c by default; is office actually being updated if it
is on a different drive
(drive d)?
