I'm having problems with the outlook .pst mailbox
It appears to be in the pre 2003 file format and has reached 1.92 Gb.
The mailbox will not accept incoming mail and I can only delete "sent
items". I'm unable to delete anything in the Inbox to reduce file size even
after archiving.
I can see and open all the emails but can't do anything with them.
Possible solutions I've tried so far -
1) Created a new personal folder in the 2003-2007 format and tried to import
the existing personal folder - no data created or transferred.
2) Ran scanpst to remove errors etc and tried again - same result
3) Tried to import the existing personal data by folder, limited success
with inbox folder, but wouldn't import from sub folders.
4) Downloaded office service pack 2 - no change
5) Tried to download update KB933493 but recieved error message "software
not as expected"
I've run out of ideas, do I start from scratch and build a new folder
structure.
Any ideas (apart from chucking myself in the river.........) ?
